The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of the major stabilizers of the knee, and is often torn during sports or trauma. Patients that tear their ACL are often very limited in their activities due to buckling and giving out of the knee. Our surgeons perform advanced arthroscopic techniques to reconstruct the ACL. This restores normal stability and function to the knee, allowing patients a full recovery and return to their sports and activities.

The meniscus is a C shaped cartilage that helps distribute the forces across the knee. Tears in the meniscus can cause pain, locking, catching, and swelling. Our surgeons use arthroscopic techniques to repair or remove tears in the meniscus. This eliminates the pain and mechanical symptoms, resulting in normal function of the knee.
